Still tired after 4 days of workin da floor but it was all worth it. Special thanks to Adam / Fishunter for helping me man the NCKA booth. And to Chuck, EK, SCallen for giving our sport more exposure. I salute Zee for making the trip from Seattle to represent!!! But more importantly, MANY MANY thanks to those who made the effort to visit the ISE show.....just remember that this is the only show we have left (no more Fred Hall) so let's do our best to keep this show running by ATTENDING it ....it's better than having no show at all - PLEASE keep that in mind.

It was nice meeting the past, present and future NCKA members!  :smt006

Nice report Joel Thanks :smt002
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

..even met some interesting fellas..

Geno - is the original creator of the portable kids fishing ponds. He goes to all the shows and promotes fishing to the youth by "taking the fishing to them" :smt001 What a cool cat :smt023

Also met another cool cat = Charlie at the Fly Tying show....who also happens to be an NCKA member AND a mentor to Andy "KickinBass" and Dan "Mahi Mahi"....

Fishing Jay even did a clinic on "how to properly peel a crawdad".....(we HAC members feel that we should induct Jay into our crew - coz this home boy can chow down some really nasty stuff  :smt045)

...forgot to thank my boss, Vince from Aquan Sports. Aquan was offered another booth space to use and Vince gave me the green light to use it for NCKA  :smt023

Thanks also to Papa Bill for picking up the tab for dinner :smt008

God Bless NCKA :smt001

While the show left some to be desired the kayak fishing people were awesome. The interest in kayak fishing was out there and I think our presentations in the corner theater rivaled the best crowds at the bass tank... not bad! It was a blast to hang out with all the boyz, and meet many new ones, for a few days and I was loving the vibe. NCKA rocks! What can I say.. NCKA's brought a whole lot of goodness to my life so always happy to give back.

Moochy did a great job finding a good place to grub (Hokkaido) and they had some awesome food.. even some real tasty snails! Thanks to Papa Bill for the tab as well!

Great again to see everyone and if y'all in my hood look us up at NWKA and let's go fish.

Nice hookup, Guys and Gals, and great report, Mooch.  Looks like a blast.  Not surprising to hear that yak fishing was the big draw that it is.   :smt001

Thanks for the nomination Mooch! One of my good friends at work is Guatemalan Mayan and after several meals at his house and mine I've been granted "provisional Guatemalan status" too. As my participation in BLOTY confirms, I've yet to find a type of food I won't eat!  :snorting: :fat :drool  :smt005

It was a lot of fun, I think the weather was sooooo nice during the weekend, many people went out and did other things like snow boarding.

Sonic and Dakota and I slept for 12 hours when we got home, and took a long nap on Monday afternoon, ( no stinkin' Security guys to wake me up at home :smt005 ).

Sonic stuffed her nose down the blouse of Amanda Orr
from "Deer Camp" on Outdoor Channel ( Direct TV channel 608), made friends with her "twins", and got a cameo on the TV show with Dakota while they were filming endings for their TV show. I hope it comes out.
I wish I could get on TV that easily!

It was good to meet everyone and put faces to all the handles here on the NCKA forum.

The weather is going to be so nice in Sacramento at the Cal Expo, we should have a kegger!
