AOTY Question.

Stupid question, is there somewhere we can view A list of the people who are signed up for AOTY?

Best stupid question I've seen in months!   

I think a bunch of us are wondering that.

Or a list of the Top 10 finishers of AOTY for 2008 , maybe I just missed it ?

I wonder if there is a master list of 2009 participants that Bill can post. Ususally you just check the standings, but there's only 1 fish on the board so far. Nice bass BTW ravensblack!

There is a list that is set up for Bill to administer your accounts regarding when you actually paid your AOTY entry fee.  There are actually a few more fish that have been entered for 2009, but the "date paid" stuff isn't quite up to date yet.

No one ever asked for a public list of contenders before.  I guess I thought that it doesn't really matter until you post your fish first and get your points.  I can tell you that right now only three people have been marked down as having paid.  If you've paid and want to know if you've been credited with that payment, log into the AOTY site and check the upper right hand corner and it will tell you what the database has for your last date paid.  If you've paid and it's been a few days and you still don't have credit check with Bill.

I really hope three isn't the true value of the number of people that have signed up right now.  The more people pay and sign up early on the more leverage the admins have when they go to get sponsers (i.e. prizes) for this event.   If everyone waits until warmer weather it might be too late.  So sign up now.  Better yet, sign your best friend and the rest of your family up too.

I paid back in mid-December but after I log in to AOTY there is nothing in the upper right hand corner about "last date paid." 

Bill, do you have me in your database? I can get a copy of the PayPal receipt for you if need be.

Hey Brian, are you saying that people have caught fish for AOTY before paying? I thought the fish don't count until you pay...?

For me it shows that I paid in January of '08. I've already paid for this year and it's not showing that.

Oh, whoops! Yeah, mine says paid Jan 1 2008. But I paid for 2009 last week.
I'm planning to catch 3 species tomorrow.

Hey guys I am running behind updating the AOTY paid status for people. My parents are in town this week but this weekend I will get everyone updated. We have 34 people signed up so far.

Click on "most recent"  at the AOTY page and you will see the fish posted for 2009. Michael/"dilbeck" has two fish posted to date.....

So, with all those fish enterd for '09, why only one guy on the leaderboard?
