Merry X-Mas To Me

Woke up this morning in great spirits headed out the door to go to the local starbucks for my fix jumped into my 4 Runner started it up to hear an awful exhaust sound. Looked underneath and what do you know, my F-ing catalytic converter is gone!!!!! After doing some research I found that those bastards target Toyota's for the converters because they contain about an 1/8 of an ounce of platinum in them..Just cant wait to find how much its gonna cost to replace.....Damn!!!! .. What I would give to catch someone under my truck...

THAT is F'd up... 
I've heard about this kind of theft and that Toyota trucks are the #1 targets. Un-fricken-believable.
And yes, it ain't gonna be cheap to replace.
Hope the rest of your Xmas is wonderful enough to eclipse this BS.

Sorry about your 4runner dude. That sucks so bad. I hope these guys get caught
not by the police but by owners of the vehicles. You know what I mean? I hope
to replace it doesn't cost too much.

That is a complete bummer.  Sorry to hear that some scrooges had to put a damper on your Christmas.

Same thing happend to my son in Sac. he had the muffler guy weld re-bar down his pipe so it would a little tougher to steal next time . He also has a Toyota truck.

I worked as a manager in Toyota service dpt, and we had a lot of people coming in for that problem..  Same thing happened to my 2000 4runner.  It's now welded on.  Sorry to hear about that.  What year was it?  We actually had a ring or gang from LA coming to bakersfield.  We had 40 stolen off our new vehicles at Toyota one night.

Andy, that sucks..  happened to a friend twice at BART this year, Tacoma 4x4.
