as a parent, I rejoice with you and your wife.

As a lover of football if he plans on lifting fullbacks of their feet, he needs a bigger neck!

and not that this crew needs it, but the most dangerous thing we can do in life is sit around and waste it on the couch.

Rodger that...the kids physique changes by the day.  While he is the skinniest lineman your likely to see he has been getting it done.  He won defensive player of the year last year (his first season), made All Stars this year, and his helmet is loaded with stickers and gouges...what he lack in size he makes up for in intensity...but that combo is likely how he ended up in the wagon!

That is some scary stuff, Sean. And Jelly.
Great news that Jelly is doing better. Hopefully you can turn it into a positive and be an even stronger person (and football player). If not physically, then at least mentally stronger.

I know its just HS football but I had a few—dislocated shoulder and broken collarbone (same arm) in the same season. The hardest part was sitting on the sidelines with my arm in a sling during CCS playoffs against Oak Grove. But overcoming those obstacles made me a stronger person and a smarter player.

And, yeah, you’ve probably heard it 1000 times now….but…you should always be able to “see what you’re tackling.” Never put your chin down towards your chest before impact.

Do what it takes to get healthy. And then get back out there!
Good luck to Jelly and the whole family,
PK

Glad to hear your son is OK SBD. Our kids can definitely scare the hell out of us at times. I can finally begin to imagine how my folks felt with the three of us boys growing up. My son is only 11 and he has put my wife and on on pins and needles several times.

Take Care,
Ray

It was Jellyfish...then Jelly.  Jellyfish was coined by Mooch after he hooked a number of jellys while salmon fishing.

I still prefer "Pan Blanco"!
