But you still whipped out the camera for some pictures!? My wife would have killed me!  :smt005

I'm glad to hear it all turned out well. Good thing kids are strong and resilient, even though they really scare their parents now and then.

If you think you worry about your kids when they are babys wait until they are teenager/young adults.
Sean you are getting pretty good at those ER shots I hope you don't have any more opportunities, you boys must be putting Leah through hell  :smt001

Hang in there Ma and Pa!  Glad Jelly's OK.

I'm sure for a lot of us it seems like just yesterday we were in Jelly's shoes feeling invincible and occasionally taking one for the team.  Being the parent of the player sure does change your perspective.  My turn is coming soon enough... Yikes!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Jelly... ya need to thicken up that skinny neck of yours and quit leading with your head.  :smt002

Terrifying, I was holding my breath. What a relief. The next game might be a tad difficult for mom and dad to watch. I've still got the chills. Hang in there guys, and mend quickly Jelly.

Yeah, it really sucks when things like that happen.  My son fell off my shed last summer and fractured his skull on a rock, so much blood gushed that it was dripping off his feet.  Fortunately he pulled through A-ok, but there was a couple days there I was worried he'd need surgery or could still die or end up riding the short bus.  He was chasing a moth with a flashlight when it happened, so now I have kind of a clockwork orange like reaction to moths.   I hope nothing like that happens fishing or hunting.

Glad Jelly's fine (man he's grown too!).  Hopefully it wasn't traumatic enough to you that football makes you want to  :smt078.

Glad to hear it all turned out OK SBD.

My son is only 6 years old so I've got some time before I have to worry about it too much.  Not long ago I was talking to my son, Omar, and he started asking me questions about when I was young...during the conversation I mentioned that I spent some time in the Marine Corps...he then asked if I had pictures so I showed him some.  Ever since then he's always talking about joining the Marine Corps too (which I'm semi opposed to).  A few weeks ago he asked if I would go to war with him and I tild him I was probably too old (and fat) to go to war anymore...he said he would build me a fort and keep me safe.   :smt010   :smt008

Anyway, I hope Jelly comes out of the haze and feels good enough to kick some ass on Saturday...or at least be there to cheer on his team.

I'm glad to hear Chris is alright! Going through life not talking risks is like not living at all. You just have to hope that when life bites back, it doesn't bite too hard.

Did the doc give you and Leah any Valium for the next game?
