BTW, there has actually been a GWS/kayaks enounter at LK...

Ok, let's hear it! I know for a fact the Landlord makes regular visits to LK - didn't know he'd made levy. Details please.
I don't know if this is the same incident that J is referring to, but two years ago, one of the park employees at LK told me a group of SoCal kayak fishermen had an encounter with a GWS about two miles north.  He said no one was hurt, but the guys were so freaked out, they packed up left the campgrounds early.

Art-

That is a shot in a million... just a great shot. That's one for my wall of shame for sure.

Adam-

Good eyeballs there. I couldn't do anything but smile. I was had and I knew it...

John-

I kinda knew that I was going to get wet so, I stowed everything that I couldn't strap down. I already broke one rod at the Bean and didn't want to break another one.

Bryce-

What else would I be wearing to go for a swim...

Kayote told me that he and the Utah boys crossed paths with a big one there.

The older ranger that works there has some other stories, but Kayote and crew had a first hand encounter.
