We were going to go after some butts in the bay. I was thinking Paradise because I'm too lazy to make bait when I can just buy it at LL. But we'll go wherever there's other fisherfolk. Baaaaaaa.

Sat morning? What time?

Northern,
Iwas thinking sun but may do both. IMHO smelt outfishes shiners 2 to 1 and they are pretty easy to make. you can also buy dock scoops of anchovies at Bezerkeley for $15. enough bait for 2 to 5 yakfishers. i think chovies are better than shiner.

Sunday morning I have plans and then I was thinking of HMB in the afternoon.

Berkeley seems to be a lot quieter fish-wise than ARW?

Where/whenever, make your plan and if we can make it, we'll be there.

well lets see. I HATE getting up early even though every time i do I'm glad i do. High is at 630, but sunrise is at 644. Primetime is KEY to these fish. (high and the beginning of the outgo). So if i tell myself i have to be there by 530, not a second later, ill arrive at 610 :smt044. So for the rest of you who actually have the ability to keep appointments, lets say 6.
If we get out early, we could have hali on the barbie for late lunch!(optimistic).
Take no prisoners. Capture the hearts, minds and fillets of the local inHalibutants. I have verifiable intel from local CIA recon agents that 2 High Value Targets of Opportunity (WSB) have been captured in the area recently. :smt066
