What type of carrier are you using? I have a 2004 Z-71 Tahoe also. I'm looking to buy a 12' Hobie Outback and roof mount also. Any other helpful information would be appreciated. Thanks

Do a little research though because you can find them for a LOT LESS money.  At one point in time, I believe Harbor Freight carried something like it for $40.

The problem with that design is if you go uphill the thing drags on the ground until the entire truck is on the same plane.
The design aforementioned eliminates that problem.
I made one years ago when I had a truck. Got rid of it when I sold the truck. Now that I have a truck again I'm wishing I still had it.
