Gimme some serious Shelter! 3/28 - 3/30

Long range forecasts indicate flat water next weekend!  I'm waiting for a response on a PM to a friend at the Cove to see if the bite came alive at all today - it turned out to be flat like the "abglance" had shown all last week while NWS flipflopped and called for 10' swells or more as recently as two days ago...  I may not be able to hang out after fishing and at night due to other plans with the family, but I'll break all the rules of WAF if the bite is on.  I'll update this of course, so keep your eyes open and chime in if you're thinking of joining me.

Can't do it on weekend, but do you have any idea how's the weather & swell is going to be like on Thursday?

Thursday doesn't look great, Naoaki.     ...but 10' swells may be do-able.  I can't go that day and will be saving it up for the weekend.

Sunday and Monday are looking good so far, and NWS forecast reaches as far as Saturday right now and is looking sweet...

If the winds are light and my new swell model is right Sunday and Monday may be FAC - diving water even...

I might make it up there on Sat if the weather conditions do pan out for the better.

I don't know...it seems like I'll miss the best window if I can mainly only fish part of Friday and Saturday.  Sure hard to make the weather synchronize with work schedules.

You might base it on what I hear about the bite, Doug.  IF I hear anything!

Saturday is looking pretty good - Sunday a little better...   

I'm back in if the weather holds.  Might as well bring crab gear too!

Forecasts:  their flipflopping usually doesn't bug me so much, as I can play it by ear.  But when I'm trying to get you guys hooked up with the last salmon chance for the YEAR, it's a pain in the ass!   

Friday may be looking like the day...  Can't tell yet.

Look how that wind has kicked up!  South 10 - 20 coming into the Cove is squirly, but it may be offshore...  North 15-25 is NEVER cool, but true North sometimes passes right by the Cove...

I'm distraught.
