Nice grouping of fish and way to break in the new yak!!!  I wonder if there is a local where one could go for a hat trick?  Ocean I guess.

I've got to get time out there to put one one my Tarpon.  This weekday fishing is making me want to just walk out of the office and hit the water.

Nice!  Good to see you got on some fish.  I've been having tough days out there too lately, but I think someone threw the "on" switch in the past week!  It's also a good sign to hear of bass being caught on reaction baits.  Game on.

Yup, I go to San Jose one day a week after work, so during the week I am available 4 days during the week, busy every Saturday with my son and free every Sunday.

But I am loving it! 

Ok, so I dont know jack about the delta or anything east of SPB, but what is the deal with mildred island... Is it one of those land reclamation project mess ups or something... did a levee break?  Looks strange from above, so I was just wondering.  Furthermore, does anyone have a feeling that the stripers may be starting up somewhere a little closer to my neck of the woods? Like the Napa River?  I would love to go after some linesides soon, but the delta is a long haul.
