I do a levee launch, its a pain in the ass sometimes if the tide isnt right, but it gets you close to where the fish are. I'll pinpoint it on google map.

I can launch off of the levee, let me know and I'll be there. You can even call me @ (650)303-5403.

To get here it is right off Highway 4. Take Bacon Island Road and follow it way around. You will pass Bullfrog Marina and a bridge, you will see Mildred Island on your left, can't miss it. Looks like a lake. You will see a bunch of wooden poles across from the levee, that is where I park directly across from. I can meet you somewhere if you want to follow me. The road is ind of bumpy and goes from asphalt to gravel.

I work Thursday, I can be there at 3:30pm the earliest. But the striper bite doesnt turn full on till 4:30-5 pm anyways. I fished untill 7pm today and was still getting bit hard. But I have no lights and I was a good 30 min paddle from my car.

Looks like a fine day on the water. Mildreds is a great spot on the Delta all year long. I set my X-Factor up with lights for fishing the Delta after dark. I use battery operated LED bow and stern clamp on lights from Boaters World. I was able to machine some parts so I could mount them firmly to the yak. The reason I mention this is while you cross Empire cut the slough to your entrance can get very busy there and now with the bass tournaments and the skiers they like to fly down that slough. Be safe and enjoy the fishing. Would like to fish with you out there some day soon. :smt006

Me too!  What an awesome report.  I am super jealous!  What ever happened to fishing on the weekend.  There are too many people on NCKA that go during the week!  Not only am I jealous that you had an awesome multi-species day, you got to do it on a weekday.

Are you going out there this weekend?

Again, awesome report!
Ben
