For those that didn't make it to the seminar, I decided to post the slides from my presentation on Kayak Sturgeon Methods.

These are the slides from the seminars at last year's Fred Hall Show and the seminar at Aquan Sports this past December.

Enjoy...

Erik,

Any chance you can repost that file as a powerpoint or pdf file? I don't have the software to open MDI files (my MS Office suite is too old).

Thanks,

Super Job Erik Thanks

Nice job Erik!  I see that you recommend either mono or spectra leader, are you a believer in the metal/electrical signal/fish dont like it theory?  Seems to make sense to me, plus I trust my knots more than those little crimp things...

Thanks Eric, much appreciated. Very thorough and professional.

New to sturgeon fishing and I have a question regarding the loop end of the leader with the hooks. Appears in the drawing that the leader is threaded through the eyes of the hooks, with beads between the hooks. What kind of knot or connector do you use to make the terminal loop?

Thanks again!
