Bit Confused on ChuckE's multiple personalities :smt002 ....... Danglin

I heard that!  First I thought it was Chuck E. catching the fish, then I thought there was someone else named Chuck fishing with Chuck E. and Freddie, then I figured Melissa was Chuck E's girl, and I can't figure why Chuck E. would take off and leave his girl with Freddie.  Then I FINALLY figure out Melissa is Freddie's girl!!  (I think...)   :smt044
I still haven't figured out why they are all sharing one computer, but that's probably for another chat forum.   :smt005

Great story!  Way to slay the sturgie, Melissa!

Talk about fish of a life time...

Not only was the post great the confusion about who's who with ChuckE, Freddie and Melissa only added to the great reading.

Thank you for making my day and congrats on the Sturgeon.  Melissa you are now FAMOUS on this board.  I actually saw the posting on coastside first and was blown away.

Newbie phenomena for sure.

It took me countless trips over 4 years of trying from a kayak before nailing my first dino.  That's just how it goes sometimes.

I'm just happy all-around..... happy for Melissa, happy for Freddie, happy for the women of NCKA, and happy that my local sturgeon hot spot finally produced a legal kayak sturgeon.

I'm in shock and speechless....like we just went over this on friday?...remember...ME:listen to Freddies' EVERY WORD,he knows it ALL! and don't let him and ChuckE leave you behind!...remember?!.... :smt002

=) Thanks for that advise... would have listened to Freddie's every word anyways... I wouldn't have gotten that sturgeon without him guiding me. I owe it to him.  He would never leave my side.  He's awesome like that!

Thanks for everyone's congrats!  Apparently me catching a sturgeon is a bigger deal than I had thought. I didn't have to wait long for a hit which was awesome.  It was a tough fight but I didn't think me catching one was much of anything.  I later found out how difficult it is for someone to catch one.  And to be a female and have caught one was even a greater plus.  I just got lucky.    Skill definitely was not involved.  Catching this has definitely given me motivation to continue and fight for the top spot.

Come on, Jan!  Lets dominate!

Thanks for all of your support!   :smt003

Congrats, Melissa!  Cool as hell.

I was out fishing the channel with Chuck, and it was pretty exciting to hear the event unfold via Freddie on the radio.  Good stuff.  At one point while Melissa had her fish on, the boat to my right hooked one and cpkayak in his big boat had one too!  I thought it was about to be ON, but nope.

Sorry I kinda blew past you guys on the way back in.  I thought I was about to find out how well a pair of waders RETAIN liquid!

I just got lucky.    Skill definitely was not involved.

I don't care who it is, there is a certain amount of luck involved in fishing.  But as for the skilled comment, I'm not buying it.  You can have the best coach in the world, and it sounded like Freddie was pretty good, but you still have to execute the directions.  Face it, girl's got mad skill and there's no denying it.
