.....it was about as beautiful of a morning as you could imagine and you know what happens when the weather is TOO GOOD?!
Don/Danglin made it out to hunt some stripers down..he's got his dirty work done already(Dino checked off his AOTY list)
I was getting the small taps on every cast, just not the big pull downs or pumps that I was holding for!...did I mention that the weather was GREAT?

pic4~ toughin' it out!.....about a 15min. paddle from launch.
pic5~ who put these things in HERE?!  :smt012
pic6~ Don?(Danglin),can you help me measure this thing?,and bring "your" blue roll-up-measuring device too! :smt003

pic7~Sonny- fishin the spot I spent the last TWO trips at...lots of BIG MARKS, but none willing to take a    BITE!...and another reason I paddle = one of the two TOW-INs we witnessed that day.

pic8~ if you snag-up in this area and pull up a 7lb-folding anchor?, canihaveitback?!   the first three FREE-UPS worked like a charm!...but not the forth time,DOH!....thanks for the Kick-DOWN replacement, Don!(ol'buddy)

Nice try Adam,

But you know, I don't see anywhere in the rules that states you can't measure and enter an undersized fish.  The only rule that comes close is #6 "No out off season or oversize (fish larger than the legal limit per species) may be entered."  I'm guessing that loop hole in the rules probably needs to be fixed, but until then, I think you could have claimed your 40-60? points and bumped Danglin down a notch.

Like FisHunter said, the weather was "pefect"!  Got my striper on my bullhead around 8:30am.  Saw lots of big ones "jumping" all around.  It's always nice to meet all the fellow NCKA's.  Here are some pictures of the trip:

1- Beautiful sunrise as we're getting our kayaks ready.
2- On the water waiting for the Sturgents to jump into our yaks  :smt003
3- The one that didn't get-away  :smt002
4- Measured around 26-inches and weighted around 10lbs.

Chuck and Freddie arrived around 1:ish?  they stuck close to the loveshacks where Sean and Shimmy got previous love. Lino paddled down farther and found one of the drops to drop down to...nice to meet you Lino!
Even after Freddie "BEGGED" me to stay, i told him i had to leave@2 no matter what! He asked what i had goin on? I replied,"nothing, i'm just TIRED of SITTING here DOING THIS for NOTHING for the last THREE DAYS(23on-the-water-hrs-total)...and will be adding more hours to that this weekend, AGAIN!!

....i think i'm gonna start bringing a thermos of HOT CHOCOLATE from now on, it gets cold out there!...and FREDDIE,bringyourowncup!
