Hey.
Bulldog, we did OK didn't we?
The sea was calm w/ a slow rolling South swell...the water clear and the fog was in all day. At times the fish were jumpin begging for a minnow like soft bait.
Bulldog got a sm ling and we got all the taco meat the law allows including some big olives.
Mooching for them just under the boat w/ floating shad minnow bait tipped w/ squid did the trick. In shallow water on short line they fought hard ...It was a blast!.

...the water clear

Super clear for great diving it was.
Probably 40 - 50 feet of visability and zero red tide.

Another successful NCKA Hookup. Good job guys!

First time in the big blue, Bulldog?! UH OH! You are screwed now! No more bassin and trout fishing for you. Although, rockfish season closes Nov 30 so it might be good timing to get started now...then take a winter break...and let the Madness simmer...!

I will probably be out there this wknd. Only 2 more wknds of rockfishing!

Thanks for the great report guys!

Definetly need a different wet suit.

When going to a place like Stillwater, that has a mellow surf launch/landing...its perfectly acceptable to wear waders. I prefer my breathable chest waders to my soggy wetsuit any day! I actually own 4 pairs of waders now...3 neoprenes and 1 breathables. Anybody is welcome to borrow a pair if they want to.
Now, if they could find a way to make waders with a "relief zipper"!!!
