Kiet’s Lung Fundraiser

We need EVERYONE’S help!!! Kiet contracted covid…unvaccinated…went to his lungs…now he is fucked unless he receives a lung transplant.  Mucho $$$ in the USA…so he is selling everything and will try for a transplant in Viet Nam.
   He is selling everything…and he has a ton of shit.  Tools, kayaks and gear, fishing tackle, grow equipment…EVERYTHING must go!
   Anyone who can come up to Cave Junction, you can be put to work. We are planning on an estates sale starting on Friday, March 31st…maybe to Sunday. 
   I will post all high rent items and you can make offer on line here or on Fresh and Salty. We can bring items down to either Sacramento area (Tommy), San Francisco (Tiny), or me, Ron Perry, Humboldt
   YES! This is life or death so please help anyway you can.  Cave Junction is a cool spot, you can come up and stay anytime and work ANY HELP will help!

We'll keep him in our prayers.  I almost went through that a year ago, but when I told the doc not to intubate me, they brought out some experimental meds.  Not approved, hell, not even authorized for emergency use. When I looked at the hospital bill, it wouldn't list what the drugs were even.  Just an amount; a little over $250,000 total for 10 days in the ICU.  I hope he got a second, 3rd and even 4th opinion. 
Never give up bro! 
I may not be able to buy anything, but I can donate funds.  I'll watch to see how to do that.

Tommy is making a plan with his wife for donations/sales.  Not my field of expertise.  I will be heading back up soon to clean up and sort out Kiet’s items.

I thought that PIF ran into some tax issues. Is there some generic alternative, like a GoFundMe that doesn’t charge transaction fees?

Ok folks, had a good night sleep and good clarity of thought.  What I need, and am good at, will be leading the charge to clean up Kiet’s place and prepare to sell all his belongings/gear/ect.
   So…I will be asking for those who can roll up their sleeves and work their ass off on his property…you are hired. I will set up with Kiet’s roommate and cool dude, a place to crash if you stay the night (s), beer, food, and more
   His property is vast, there is stuff everywhere…the cleaner we make it and the more we sell, the more $$$ Kiet will have for his operation
   I AM NOT the accountant, we need someone to step up…hopefully Tommy will take the task and handle the $$$   Tommy is a bad ass, trustworthy dude. He gets my vote
   Kiet’s property is just shy of Cave Junction….6000 Westside Rd.  I plan on heading back up either March 29th or the 30th…and hang until Sunday, April the 2nd.  But…plans change. If you can get there earlier, James will have work for you layed out.
