OK, I am out of the loop. Is a man dog a large hot dog, a specific brand of hot dog or what's under Joels apron. If its the latter, I don't they sell them at Costco.  :smt005

Scott,   they are larger that a regular dog(polish it says) and then Mooch gives it some fancy cuts all over it(circumsize like) and when it grills, the cuts open and char a'bit. Turing it into a MANDOG...not to be confused with a HOT one.

Mooch!....post a pic of one.    I'm getting Goosebumps from describing it  :laughing7:

I have 10lbs of skirt steak marinating, I'll BBQ it all tonight, get it on ice and heat up as needed Friday night.

Troy

Holy Moly Troy...i was personally trying to keep it light (can of bone-warming soup) on fri-nite, but now I'd love to help you out with a taste of that, I'm solo frinite, but the wife is joining sat-am & bringing stuff for SAT-NITE = chick-fajitas  and you can help yourself to some....like family does!

Western Outdoor News said they just planted 4000 lbs of trout last week. Hope they last awhile.

the chronicle also reports DV was planted with 750 lb of trout on monday.

Adam

Thanks for the info. I will bring 40 "man dogs" and buns. Although I have actually performed many circumcisions, they have all been on little wieners so will defer to Joel for the man dog circumcisions.

Just a reminder - I will leave 4 free first come first serve parking permits at the front gate...(I'll be there by 7AM) just ask the attendant if there are anymore left for the NCKA group camping at the Hetch Hetchy site.

My game plan for Friday to to fish till 1PM and then paddle back to my truck and pick-up all my gear and start paddling to the HH camp site to set camp.

Please remember that we cannot set-up camp till 2PM.

See you there comrads!

UPDATED

 5. cars are locked in to the park from 8pm to 6am

I was going to invite a friend only for the potluck dinner but then they'd get locked into the park?

Is it that you can't get in after 8PM, or you can't get in and/or out after 8PM?

thanks,

Good question - I just tried calling for info but no one was picking up. I can only assume that they lock the gated entrance after 8PM. But then again, that would seem like a fire hazzard...locking in people in a camp site doesn't sound too safe - IMO.

The gate isn't locked to outbound traffic. Unless that has changed for the fall season!
Joel looks like only me for camping. Frank

I bet you we'll be able to get in a little earlier....that is just a Busy Season Rule...it does not apply to NCKA'ers!....on a fri...chance if rain....second week of oct......etc.ect.   I'll SWEET TALK them into it.....count on it!

I located a source of dry ice close by. I'm sure I picked up too much; so if anyone runs out of ice, let me know and I'll give you some. I'll try not to freeze the beer.
