Both crab and RF were slow today on the Miss Beth.  We pulled 16 pots for about 24 crab.  Found juvenile blues over by Natural Bridges in 80FOW.  No lings.  One nice vermilion.

It was tough with swell, chop and later, wind.  I'm going to surfcast tomorrow, not kayak fish.

One thing though. Just outside the harbor in 40-45 FOW, a couple big stacks of (most likely) squid. Captain Jimmy's ID so probably accurate. West of the line from harbor to mile buoy, off Seabright Beach.

Thanks for the report Bushy . Seabright sounds very interesting. Didn't launch my aluminum off capitola this year. Would be great to make a trip there. To bad no time for boats right now.  :smt001

Its almost turkey time.
