Welcome, Phil. I'd love to hear how you do that with perch!!!

It's supper ez

Take a couple hole ungutted perch ,fresh or frozen . With a sharp knife make a couple diagonal slots to the spine . Next hang them in a crab pot at between 50' to 200' for 24 hours . After 24 hours pull the trap and the perch will have magicly transformed into crab !

I'm sure the same method can be used for greenling

I don't think I've shot a greenling for at least 10 -15 years  , I do shoot perch in the fall and winter , I have a method making them taste just like crab

Ahh, a wise-guy. Maybe converting them to crab might have more on point, sheesh, I had to ask.  :smt003
