Stories always get better with time...... :smt006
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Of course safety is important. None of us want to lose a brother and I appreciate your concern with educating everyone on what they should and shouldn't do in order to avoid a tradgedy. What I don't like is seeing someone get kicked while they're down. Let's recap:
1.wear a pfd(check)
2. Don't get shitfaced and paddle out into big blue

Got it! Let's move on

When it comes to helping someone change, whether it be an addiction, habit, or some perceived flaw, the only person who can change that "flaw" is the individual. If Mike feels that he needs to quit drinking or to not drink OTW he will the person to make that change. Everyone putting him down and telling him what he "should" do only serve to alienate themselves from helping him through whatever he is going through. I only know you from GS8 but the bottom line is I got your back Sledge! You have a heart of gold (and a liver of titanium?). Sending you some love brotha :smt008 :smt006

I think you and kayak jack are missing the point.

Sledge asked for a recap on safety in the context of a day where he paddled out sloshed without a PFD and had a kayak sink. I merely suggested that paddling out sloshed without a PFD might be an issue that needs to be recapped on.

If you think paddling while inebriated without a PFD is a good idea, then I am a Nigerian prince who needs your bank account information.
U want to keep this going...I DID NOT LOSE MY YAK...HAD A 7mm wet suit on thank god...and glad I had a LOT OF FLUIDS IN MY BODY SO WHEN I PEEDED ACTUALLY FELT GREAT!!!

DONE WITH ALK THIS!!!

If you don't like to party "HARD" don't talk to me!!!

It's all about Today!!! Because who knows what tomorrow will bring... so Better get OTW n GetSome

ATD we all greatly appreciate your need to inform us of the perils of paddling under the influence and to make an example of Sledge. Now please get back on your high horse and ride away.

Nothing left to discuss here.

I've never had to lock a thread before and I've already felt the need to lock two this morning.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...
