Try to have an open mind. Its not your sleek ocean kayak. Its a watercraft that will appeal to all those who cant paddle for some reason. You ever drive a VW bug? :smt003 :smt006 :smt044

Okay, you guys have convinced me that there may be good use for this boat--especially folks with special needs.  And I went a bit over the top (but it was fun  :smt005).

For me I have always felt like we were different--because we're athletic.  I know it kind of old fashioned, but I don't kayak fish because it's easy......I do it because it's hard.  To steal a line from President Kennedy.

So that big thing in the middle is that where the dilithium crystals go?  I am not opposed to motorized yaks, but that thing is just plain ugly.

Technically a flux capacitor is used in the Predator XL.

+1.

A kayak with a motor is a motorboat.  This particular motorboat would be fun to drive and I could see its usefulness for some folks.  But I'm with DaveW on this one: part of the allure of kayak fishing is the difficulty involved.  Oftentimes you gotta WORK for those fish, whether it be traversing a tricky surf launch or paddling/pedaling for miles before reaching your destination.  And the sense of satisfaction you get from landing a beast from your little human-powered craft is far and above the satisfaction you'd get from catching a motorboat fish (in my opinion).

Again, I could see the usefulness of this craft for people who have difficulty paddling.  But I've noticed an increasing trend with people in general that they MUST be able to drive/motor their way to every single destination possible, and this vessel will foster that trend.  It's amazing how some people who are totally capable of walking somewhere will scoff at walking a 1/4 mile to a spot and will do anything in their power to get their truck/ATV to that same spot, even if it means tearing up a bunch of earth to do it.  Man if I saw this thing motoring around in some of my "kayak accessible only" spots...ugh, it'd totally kill the allure.

So,,?  It runs on banana's ?

I would love one of those for days I just want to be lazy or am sore.

If you want to be a lazy ass knock yourself out, no judgement here, you're still way cooler than the guy wasting away in front of his TV.

Exactly !  For me it's about catching fish...
