I have several spares. I also use garbage bag ties to keep the pins from dis-engaging.

I used to keep a few spare zipties duct taped to the frame in case I lost a pin. But then I bought like 6 spare pins at ACE for like $1 each. I forget what the proper name is for them...but they are nearly identical to the original pins.

I think they're referred to as "quick pins" in the boating world.
