Definitely a cool looking fish. It's like a norteno treefish. I always wanted to see one in person. Thanks for the pic and Thanks for releasing it too. That was certainly a very old fish. According to fishbase they are "solitary and territorial, defending a home crevice among rocks" so you did the right thing by releasing it.

How did you release her at depth?
You can get just as drunk on water
