Tigers off Sonoma

While fishing the RTM at Ocean Cove, Gary (bullshark) was lucky enough to catch this baby. I made sure to bring her back down to depth safe and sound. We guesstimated she was 70 +/- years old. Such an awesome fish, on my bucket list. Mike

Age approx was determined from a DFG rf chart with age/size info, but just a guess.
When the fish came up gary was "wow... What is it?". I described it was a tiger n the possible age. We all had good look in ah n back she went. If I catch one I'm going to photo the hell out of it for a replica wallmount. Big smile.

The only fish that lives older is Yelloweye at 118yrs.  Amazing.

Very cool, Man.  I've never caught one or had one caught around me and look forward to seeing one some day.  Nice job on the release and the education for others here.
