Alright, where was I… oh yeah, ready for the pot luck and getting close to weigh in time. I start down the hill to start the weigh in and I'm greeted by a sight only NCKA can offer. Life is good.

I get to the bottom of the hill and start weighing fish. Man oh man, everybody has good fish, one after another they just keep coming…

Truly amazing quality of fish at this tourney and some color too, must be the lure selection ;)

I finish up the weigh in and head back up the hill to get ready for the raffle and the pot luck. Everybody gathers around and I take the opportunity to thank the sponsors once again for all the great raffle prizes to benefit our brother in need, Marv. Keep up the fight Marv, we're all behind ya man. Here's a few of the prize winners

Raynman 10 Wins the Bending Branches Angler Pro and I think he likes it ;)

Raydon wins the Wheeleez and because he just bought some he passes them on to the next winner PescaDONo

and RancidRob wins the Liquid Image Co 727 personal video cam

many more prizes were won and TONS of swag thrown to the crowd. Thanks Again the sponsors/donors

And last of all... the bounty!

One more shot of those MONSTER rockfish NapaJustin caught on the B-2 Squid rig... awesome. The Copper went 20 inches, the biggest Copper I've seen from a yak and the Verm went 20.5 inches.

LOL! looks like I already posted some of this, oh well... apparently I have a tournament induced amnesia  :confused2:

Last bit of business... The  raffle results.

Yet again I really have to give it up for the Sponsors/Donors who mad it possible for us to help our brother in need, Marv/Shicken. Unfortunately he could not attend but was clearly touched by this gesture of support and camaraderie. We raised $780 through the raffle and an extra $40 by auctioning the gaff that O2B donated.

And the major winners are...

Raynamn 10 wins the Bending Branches Angler Pro paddle a $300 value

Raydon and PescaDONo win the Wheeleez Kayak Cart a $240 value

RancidRob wins the Ego 727 action camera a $200 value

???? (anybody remember who) wins the G. Loomis GL2 rod donated by www.AmericanLegacyFishing.com also a $200 value

Thanks as well to Jack Pollard/Slammer of Pacific Sportsman for all that great crab gear, Marco @ REI Santa Rosa for the dry bags and kayak dolly, Mike Lavoie and EGO fishing gear for the super cool lip gripper and Jason Morton @ Promar for the sweet extendable floating gaff

And of course my excellent crew

My Jennifer and her sister Laurie in her cool red shades

and the sweetest little raffle master ever my daughter Paloma

I want to give a big Thank You to Ruben.

This was an awesome event and you pulled so much off in the short amount of time. What I really liked about this format that it took only about 10 minutes to get on the water since the gear was minimal. The weather was awesome, and the ocean was like a lake. Luis and I started the day by dropping pots at Doran beach and then went up to TC. I was able to score a PB ling at 30" ( I know it's not that big) :smt044. For a report of my day check out the blog post:

The sponsors really came through for this event. All of the prizes were top notch. I was able to walk away with some awesome EGO fish grips from the raffle.

I can't wait for the next event Ruben. Thank you to you and your family!

Wow nice report and congrats on a PB best ling Victor. You did way better than me on crab at Doran. And yes, thanks Ruben for a refreshingly fun tournament.
