They ran out of stock on the 8.5' inshores  :smt013 :smt012 :smt011

I ordered a pair, got billed for a pair, then got a shipping receipt that said only 1 item and a credit to my card for the other rod.

Think I'm only gettin one :smt012

I ordered the Daiwa Coastal reel, 300yds spool of 50lb Spiderwire, and the Seeker BL rod. Only the reel & braid arrived yesterday. No word on the rod...hopefully it's waiting for me when I get home today (hopefully before my wife again lol).

Mine finally got here yesterday....beat to to hell too, packaging was freakin horrible.  The finish on the reel seat is chipped and it looks like something heavy was sitting on the box cause the eva handle has a crease smashed into it :smt012

Cosmetics aside, the action is sweet.  Can't wait to sling some iron on it.

I'm gonna call to let them know about the crappy packaging job and gonna try and get the second rod I ordered.

Thats a bummer to hear Art.
They cancelled my rod order! Just a lame email saying Partial Cancellation w/the rod listed. Im never buying from Sports Chalet online again. I only ordered the reel bcuz I was getting the rod anyways. D'OH! Btw I recommend 20lb braid or lighter for that reel. 30lb just doesn't feel right.

I caught both of those big MBK butts on a 7ft Seeker Blue Lightening Inshore rod btw. Paired w/Abu Revo Toro though.
