Do i want one or 2 bands?   (2-16mm bands or 1-20mm band)

Notched or shark fined spear?

open or closed muzzle?

a. 1 20mm

b. I have no preference, I've used both, sometimes you get a pice of the glove stuck in the notch when loading but not that big of a deal.

c. Open, hands down.

Art, so theres no really need for the two bands? Not sure how all that works ... Whats the advantages of each? Not that i will know the difference.....

on the spear, the shark fin is no extra charge

I've also heard the notched shafts break sometimes but I've never experienced it. Go with the shark fin.

With the vis we have most hunting is up close and personal, one band is enough to put the shaft all the way through a fish. Two bands is alot of power, which isn't always bad but when you're constantly shooting into and around rocks all that power smashing into rocks dulls the tip......I've had my shaft dull over the course of the day then bounce off a PB rockie at the end of the day....sucked  :smt012

If you have weenie arms you may want to go with one 16mm band.....I won't mention any names (mooch) but there's at least one guy here who has a hard time loading up a single band.

cool, thanks!

one more question...if you did have a 2 band gun, can you load only one band?

Also wondering if most guns convert from 1 to  2 bands, or 2 to 1 bands?

Me and that other weenie guy that Art won't mention have a hard time pulling a single band.  I have a 2 band gun and I like that they are easier to pull.  If I'm working in the rocks, I only pull one.  Art's probably all buff and stuff from pounding on hippies.
