Wow!! Sean, I know how you felt. My kid used to play hockey and there were a couple scary momments in the past. You love to see a good hit, but not when they don't get up. Glad he's doing well. I'm sure there were many thoughts running through your minds while waiting there in the ED. Makes you thankfull don't it?  Wierd was we going to be fishing that day. Aren't you glad you were there tho? Hopefully he learns some things form it too.... Now go hug your kids again... :smt002

I just saw Sean's post and.... holy crap.... did it scare me.  I felt that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach when I started reading Sean's post and just saw the first couple of pics of Chris on the gurney with his head strapped down.  Whew..... what a relief when I saw that pic of him walking in the hospital hallway.  I'm so happy he's okay.

Sean.... please let Jelly know that this long thread is evidence that his fishing buddies miss and love him very much.

Thanks Adam.  They played a great game, and were up by 16 at one point, but ended up losing the Championship to undefeated Healdsburg.  Hopefully Jelly will get back on the yak...if not Schoolie is turning into a maniac!

I am glad everything came out okay!

When I lived in south Carolina I worked a few football games, I always hated those, you have thousand of parents on edge. Some, not all, acting dumber than dumb while your trying to asses what is wrong.  Now bull riding, now that is a fun event to work.  I used to wince in pain and those guys would just shrug it off.  WWE same thing.  Religous concerts....you can't pay me enough to work another one of those, people get full of the "sprit," and they are down right mean!

Glad to hear he is okay.  He sure has changed alot since meeting him 5 years ago, Kid is growing like a weed.

Maybe we can get him to slow down a little, and fish again with his ncka buddies.
