I like the plan to meet up at Monastary at 5:30.  I will be there then.  It gives a good chance for a group decison based on real swell conditions at the time though we still have to guesstrapolate on down to LK which can be tricky because Pt. Sur and the coast can be a big block for N winds and waves as you get south.  Remember a forcast is just that and conditions are milder earlier usually.  Take a look and decide if you want to take the chance.  I might just slap on a patch tonight and be ready to stow all the gear in my hull and rambo on through the surf..........or maybe just fish Coral St. or Carmel Bay........but the fishing in Big Sur!.........
