Sorry I don't get here much and trying to stay busy at work..  I have a 10' Dagger Frolic kayak.  From my perspective the body of the shark was 24-30 " wide.  With aprox 24" dorsal and pectoral fins.  Andres had the best seat in the house and estimated it at just under twice the size of my kayak.  The state biologist estimated 15-18' based on bite marks they came out to measure.  I think having a CATT might be on. The end of my paddle leash next time out.  Maybe 2.   Also,  this is completely anecdotal but I did have an American flag print on my life vest and paddle.
