A few questions answered.  No fish were on board.  Only dink blues caught so far.  No shark deterrent system used. Using an Eagle cuda 350 s/map with transducer mounted in hull with epoxy. Was wearing dive boots, tan silk weight underpants with black board shorts over, long sleeve dive undershirt with black t shirt over, blue/ black paddle jacket, camo hat with yellow/orange reflecting lenses (gas station ones so of course I didn't loose them). 😂

Wow, those tooth fragments are so cool!
I know this could have been so much worse, but as it is, it is really an amazing story. I hope you come out of it emotionally unscathed as well.

That would be crazy scary! Glad you made it out safely! Good thing you weren’t out there alone! Are you going to get a shark shield? You should keep the kayak and patch the holes!

A couple combat deployments as a medic to Iraq and Afghanistan have me well prepared for this stuff.  Plus, a good family with a healthy sense of humor and Amazon :smt044

Brian,
Holy crap! Glad you're OK. That had to be super scary.
Nice souvenir teeth anyway. Glad they're in the boat and not you!
Take your time, get back in when you're ready, and think about the shark shield.
PS thanks for your service.

Incredible! WTG keeping your cool. Too close when he is brushing against you and carrying your kayak away! Glad you are ok.  :smt006

Thanks for your service man and one more time… glad you’re all good!  I admit some of my trips are solo.  I invested in the shark shield and when it started beeping/dying after 4.5hrs or so, I knew it was time to start heading in.  So I bought a second last Xmas to extend my time OTW.  Hope you get back out there soon 🤙!
We're gonna need a bigger boat!
