It seems most of the reports are 2011 or older so if we are going to go 4+ years back let's go back to when attitudes were positive about bean!

I take it this doesn't happen anymore in terms of the group effort to BH?

you'll notice that this post was made in July though, not September :smt002
Says the guy who fished there with me Sharktober at least a couple times...of course that was back when we were all stupider.

I think group hookups still happen with regularity; it just isn't coordinated or posted on the main public forum. It happens behind the scenes via PM or on the Members-only board (that you'll have access to once you hit 10 posts).

From my perspective, Eureka seemed a lot like the stretch from Pacifica to SC in regard to the amount of shark sightings / attacks, coupled with the plentiful amounts of fish that attract so many seals / shark food. And I didn't think there would be a big difference going in July vs sept. but the buoys are showing double the amount of recorded sharks in the area (4 in July: 8 sept). Not a deal breaker by any means but the numbers are certainly something to pay attention to.

And thanks for the heads up about private msgs and recommending some solid people to touch base with. I've just got to get to that 10 post mark!
