I have an update on the battery.  I fished the port today and ran the FF with all features running and after 6 hours it was still chugging away.  I tested the amp draw and found it to be the same as I tested before.....85 per hour.  When I tested before I did not have the transducer plugged in but I see that had no effect anyway.  When I got home I tested the voltage and it read 12.5.  It seems as though I haven't been charging it long enough to get a FULL charge.  I have since purchased a float charger and will see how I do now and in the future.  Thanks again for all who chimed in with some suggestions.

Haha... the 18ah is for two-fishfinder days or if I go single fishfinder & livewell.
When I say 7-8hrs with the 8ah battery, that is just one fishfinder (Elite 5).
Still a PIMP!  :smt002

So I'm confused.  Do you, or do you not, run TWO FFs?  If so, I need pictures please.

I borrowed O2bs  size 5 depth finder once and it killed my battery by mid afternoon. I use an elite 4 chirp and it lasts all day on a 5 amp battery. I know it's a smaller screen, but I can see what I need and I prefer a unit that lasts all day. I don't want to keep using larger and larger batteries.
