+1 on taking a leak. All it takes is for it to work 1/100 times and you'll remember it forever. I was mid-stream on one bite and had to make a quick decision.  :smt044

I'm a crappie kind of guy so I have many outings with blanks on the slabs.

Soon after pouring coffee all over my shirt, I switch over to bass. I go to the SR71 Blackbird (actually an SR5 Shad Rap). If that doesn't work I pull out the BIG BASS STICK and get the DT's going (Shad Rap DT series). I love shad raps.

In a big picture sort of way though, the one lure that rates a place in every tackle box is the smaller Little Cleo spoon in silver/blue. It catches everything/anywhere/anytime. It's your traveling go-to desperation lure.

With all that being said, I just bought some senkos to try for bass today.....  :smt005

I get panic attacks when I take my golf buddies out fishing in my PB.  This guys get so impatient when nothing is biting.  When that happens I take them to rock cod territory and they are all happy when they catch even a little fish.  I myself handle nobite times by drinking beer and just relaxing.  Always remind myself that being in the water is always better than being at work.

What do I do when the fish aren't biting?
Hmmm...I have never experienced such a thing.

I wouldnt call it a panic box but confidence lures.  Confidence plays a big factor in catching fish.  Planning and preparation only goes so far and then versatility comes into play.  Having a confidence lure tied on just give you that illusion of " the next bite" kinda deal.  For me, on the dirty d, it has to be a jig.  On the lakes, its hard to beat a dropshot.

Castmasters! My all time go to favorite. I usually bring along a pack of red 4" big hammer salt shaker worms for the drop shot too. This is for fresh or salt water. At GS7 I got 4 species on a the same castmaster.
