It does not really add up the the 92 you were charged but the fee is different on odd and even years. Even years are 29.00, odd years are 49.00 I believe. Not sure if the change the fee earlier than Jan 1st but that could account for a significant chunk of the 92 bucks.

Congrats on your new toy. I am sure once you get it otw the DMV will be the last thing on your mind.

On a recently purchased AI, Windtoys did all the paperwork and filing for $74.  Property tax?  Thats just mean.

Well they sent my paperwork back to me, because I didn't sign section 6 that states my vessels engine has a spark arrestor on it. geeez.

however they did note I was overcharged and are issuing a refund YAY.

The whole idea of registration of a kayak is absurd in my opinion.  It's a grey area that the DMV just doesn't want to "repair" thus they charge as if were a "boat".
