Weak showing at the port... Again caught black bass :smt044 stripers all got away. I did get another large 11" perch like I caught at Rollins. Let's hope december is better. Did anyone see what that guy  fighting a fish for over 3hrs caught???!?!!?!? :smt005

I think he was at the 2 hour mark when we got there. Hopefully he didn't break off.

Today was a nice day at the port, the weather was perfect. It was sunny with minimal wind which ment it was a t-shirt and splash pants type of day. There was plenty of schoolie action but who can complain bendos on the rod is still action. Today reminded me how much I miss striper fishing.Get ready winter stripes it's ON!

Was a slow day for my buddy and I. We trolled around all day for not a bite. Next time I am going to try drifting minnows and bait. As for the guy fighting the fish, the last I had heard he was fighting it for 4 hours and still hadnt seen it. The guy was too tired to fight it and kept taking breaks giving the fish time to recover. I told him to hand the rod off to the other guy in the boat but he didnt want to LOL. I watched him for an hour and gave up. I was very interested to see what he had caught because he was casting a rattle trap in 4 ft of water when he hooked into the beast.
