For me Aaron will always be a good friend no matter what. He should be remembered as the good man and brother that we all knew. I hope we as a group can do something for his family. The MBK derby will never be the same for me. Rest in Peace Brother

I have a friend who is just about to jump into the world of kayakfishing and came to me for advice and instruction. Last week she got the lowdown on appropriate gear and such, and we'll be starting off easy, with short-paddle rockfish hunting.

She sent me an email with a huge thankyou note on Friday, and in response I explained how my friend Aaron liked to take one new angler a season & try to give them all the knowledge he had, and all I was doing was trying to live up to that. Even though I had been paddling & fishing for years before we met, I learned a ton from Aaron, and can only try to keep that going.

Randomness rules the universe. Perseverance is the only path to success..but luck sometimes works too.

Awesome. Great way to keep his memory and your friendship alive.

Sincerely,

Jim
