Yes!  Expect bass boats out there on the water.  Besides the tournament at Russo’s Marina, Stockton Bass Club will also have their at Ladd's Marina.  Luky for us we are fishing for strips.

Yep, that quake was a quick knock at 4:04 this morning.  Short and sweet.  Pretty dang close to my house (within 8 miles or so).  As far as the power boats, please remember to be safe and keep your heads up.

See ya Sunday if I can find a parking place.

I'm not making any bold prognostications however I feel like I have a solid plan in the works.  Execution is a whole 'nuther story.

Wife's gonna be pissed when she finds out I dropped over $100 prepping. :smt013  :smt044

So tomorrow is going to be my first NCKA event and I'm stoked.  Hopefully tomorrow will be my first time catching a fish from my yak.  I've got my gear ready to go, got my bait, I guess I'm just asking if anyone wants to paddle with/near me?  Maybe my begginers luck will wear off?  I dont want to get in anyones way, I kinda just dont want to be that guy everyone is wondering "Who the hell is that?"  I plan on throwing some plugs for hopefully some top-water action and trolling some live bait.  Anyone wanna hang with a newb?  FYI; I wont be upset if no one responds to this.  I'm excited for tomorrow and meeting everyone!

Jeff,

You are more than welcome to join my sons and I. We are newbies also. Look for the bright yellow Ford Escape pulling a trailer with three kayaks.

Jeff,  I see that Eric and Alfredo have already stepped up and offered their services but should something go wrong, you are more than welcome to hang with my crew.  That said, Eric might not be a bad option.  At his last event, he had the hot stick and caught what would have been the winner.

Anyhoo, it will be myself, my brother-in-law James Arken, and my former boss Jeff Smith.  I drive a white Ford Explorer with 2 orange Hobies.  Smith drives a white Ford F150 with a yellow P-15.  We think we've got a plan and will be making a short run to some water if you're game.

BTW, what should we be looking for?  What make and color is the yak?
