Truth be told I do NOT know how to fish this lake  :smt044  Except for targeting trout I guess, which is pretty much the same in all EBP lakes.  I've never caught anything else but skunks there  :smt044

Boat in camping, although it can be walked its about 1.5 miles in.

FYI I'll have my AI and be able to help schlepp gear from the launch to the site.

Spoke with a supervisor for lake del Valle. The kayaks can be pulled up on the beach but not boats. Spoke with Rick Ferre who okayed us shuttling equipment back and forth on a boat but no boats overnight.

Need to call him back to see if he will allow me to leave my truck and boat in the parking lot overnight.

Wait...it's a boat-in site but no boats are allowed over-night? WTF??  :smt102

It's a hike in site, with a allowance for kaykers, but not boaters I guess.  But maybe they will be cool with the boat at their docks overnight?

I know it's a ways off, but I'm bringing my grill and can grill up a bunch of fish if we want to make fish tacos. I'll bring mahi, yellowtail, and wahoo. I'll also see if Vy can mix up a little batch of apple slaw the night before.

The more we share the better on this excursion!  No need to carry 15 stoves, or what have you.  Think communal or sharing, and everyone bring what they want to enjoy with others.  I'm thinking of bringing my dutch oven and doing deserts and things like pastrys for the morning in it.

I can bring bagels lox and cream cheese as well as a larger camp stove and gas or a back up tiny stove if some is bringing a big one already.

Is there water at the site?

Really hoping to make this. As Al put it, I would like to contribute by " shleping " in some stuff for the communal thang. Maybe a 5 gallon propane tank. That's if I can arrange to leave my boat in the parking lot overnight. Luckily plenty of time to try and figure it out.

And all the firewood  :smt003  I think we should all bring a box, and have a big fire each night.  :smt003

I also plan on bringing my AI and schlepping stuff from the launch to the campsite with my outrigger's for people.  I plan on being there when they open, so find me at the launch or hail me on 69 for help with your stuff!

That is a good question, but I couldn't find an answer online.  Will give the park a call and see if they know.  From the view on google maps cant really tell, but this is what the site looks like from the trail:
