And all the firewood  :smt003  I think we should all bring a box, and have a big fire each night.  :smt003

I also plan on bringing my AI and schlepping stuff from the launch to the campsite with my outrigger's for people.  I plan on being there when they open, so find me at the launch or hail me on 69 for help with your stuff!

I plan on being self-sufficient, but the two boxes of firewood I'm bringing will probably need to be schlepped.

I'm super stoked for this FnC. Lookin' forward to just vibin'.  :smt004

Need to call him back to see if he will allow me to leave my truck and boat in the parking lot overnight.

Then you will need to be schlepped to the site and back!  :smt003

Man, I'm having a blast just dry setting up my tandem for this trip.  :smt005

After reading through all of the old Del Valle FnC threads, I think I'll bring a catfish set-up.

Right!

I've seen stripers caught in the narrows and catfish just around the corner from the camp site and I've only been there a couple times. Don't have much experience fishing for cats or stripers but figure I'll bring anchovies and liver for bait.

Thought I would have to fit everything in my Prowler but luckily the guy who is buying my Tarpon 160 hasn't come to pick it up yet!

Man, I just watched this YT video a few days ago that proves there are BIG stripers in there:

Probably ditching the boat and looking to put together some sort of shlepcycle with a small aluminum dog carrier I found online.  I am guessing most people are just carting there kayaks with gear in tow in the kayak , except for Al who is using his A.I.

Last time I just towed an inflatable raft (cheapo 2 man) behind me, loaded up with the cooler and other gear that didn’t fit in my kayak.

Did anyone ever find out if there's running water at the site?

Was there water at Hetch Hetchy?
