Reminds me of an episode in my youth.  We rode our bikes to fish Berkeley Pier in my youth.  My buddy Derrick and I find a dye pack from an emergency pack.   We decide to see what it does.  We open it and toss in the bay in the corner by the frontage rode on the south side.   That neon green color covered acres of water.
