Haven't landed anything big, but hooked into a few...the drag is awesome and it does cast INCREDIBLE.  Still loving it!!!

I took my Revo out for the first time today and I pretty much echo everything in this thread. I'm looking forward to getting something serious on the end of my line to see how well this reel handles. After my first couple of casts with this reel I found myself laughing because I couldn't believe how far it can throw a lure. No trouble with backlashes, but I was tossing a pretty heavy Kastmaster. I'm thinking this is going to be one serious salmon and striper reel and I'll probably give it a shot at some halibut next year too!

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Still LOVING mine.

How did it fare down south on the big trip?  Or was it even used?

This past weekend I experienced a bit of the backlash issues that I had heard about. But, I was throwing a light-ish lure in the wind. That freespool lets you throw a lure ridiculously far, but lookout in the wind. Even though, I still love this reel. If only I were a better fisherman and could catch something that would put it to a serious test.  :smt044

Mine just showed up today.  Sweet!

They're available from http://allwatersfishing.com/product_info.php?products_id=16405 for $174.99 plus $10 for USPS priority shipping.  Mine arrived 3 days after I ordered it.  Gonna load it up with 20# powerpro.

Can't wait to try it out.

Thats gonna happen with any reel, I had a round Abu go nuts on the SMith doing exactly the same thing.  First fatal birds nest in years.  Gonna have to cut this one out.
