After tiring of dealing with the mess and hassle and sore back from cleaning fish in the driveway, I shamelessly ripped off Sean's idea a couple of months ago.  I had no luck finding a used restaurant sink (which I believe is the best way to go) so I bought this stainless table and shelves at IKEA ($155).  The faucet came from Home Depot($39.95).  Ability to clean/filet the catch at work height and clean up effortlessly = priceless.

nice randy!  Looks great, real clean.  I'm biting your idea when I replace the utility sink in my garage.  You got the item number on that Ikea stuff?

Sorry, I don't have the stock numbers, but the sink and shelves are from the "UDDEN" series.  It's actually intended for use in kitchens.  By the way, if you install a faucet, you'll need to make a proper hole or 2 or three, depending on the faucet type and whether you install a sprayer.  The IKEA tool for this is called "FIXA."  It's easy to use and not very expensive.  If you decide to go that way, you can use mine.

I hit the public fish cleaning sinks in Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz when fishing near them...
Does anyone know of a public sink in Monterey?
I read of one on the commercial wharf but can't seem to find it>

Very nice. I've got the stainless sink already (scrounged it), I just need to get/build a table/counter to set it in. The sink is a double kitchen model, so finding something the proper size is taking a while. Plus, I've been so busy fishing this season :smt003.
One question for Randy & Sean-What does the sink outlet feed into? Bucket, mini septic, or?? I've been considering a buried length of 6" perforated landscape drain hose since I have a bunch of it.

Ours drains into a mini (3' x 3' x 3') septic.  The soil here is mostly sand, so it perks like a sieve.

When I camp at Shasta for a week, What we don't eat (trout & small mouth bass) I use a vacuum sealer (Food saver)to pack the fish up.   I use an 500 watt inverter to power the vacuum sealer. Works great!
Friend brings a small 3-way powered fridge (110Vac, 12VDC, and propane) that has small freeze section. This helps keep our catch fresh.

That Udden sink is awesome! For some reason I can only find it available on the Ikea UK site. Nothing here in the US? What gives? I need that sink for fish/duck/deer cleaning station I am building to enclose in a screen room/greenhouse I'm adding to the side of my house.

Yeah understood. I still want a stainless steel table with sink for my outdoor cleaning station. I found these tables pretty cheap. May just get one then cut in a sink.

Yeah those large commercial sinks are a dime a dozen it seems. I don't want all the sink area. My brother and I clean deer one of us cuts up the larger portions in to individual muscles and hands it over for removing silver skin and portioning up in to steaks, etc. I need mostly counter but a small sink on the end would be great. I'll just get one of those $150 tables from webstaraunt supply and add a sink. The Ikea table looks perfect though.

My advice: get a table w/single sink compartment. You don't use the sink as much--and you'll value the big flat area for processing fish/game.
