i like the photo of the truck at the Monte Rio stop sign, did you buy a tye dye shirt or windchime there?

john
I was SERIOUSLY gonna stop and get one of those BIG BAMBOO windchimes, they make music-like-sounds, but they only had a few and i'm sure the $$ was geared for a tourist.

help yourself to a copy of the truck at the sign....(don't forget to sign the........  :smt002 ) justincase. :smt005

Joel - I LOVE the P15. Molto Grazie!

Had some problems with the FF, though. It would work for awhile then flash like 239 ft. deep, then 0ft and then it would stop reading the depth altogether.

I noticed after I landed that one of the wires can be plugged in "upside down"...maybe I had it in wrong? Gonna mess with it some more sometime this week.

That and the fact that you gooped the friggin' center hatch shut....  :smt011  :smt003

Gonna replace that soon, though. The P15 is actually a drier ride than my Caper.

Yea, I saw him stuffing his snacks in his seat bag and was mumbling something about "no where to put my snacks and stuff" imagine the HORROR of it ALL!

With the calm water did you guy's hit the "The Reef" to the south? I've always wanted to do that but never have.

We were out near the Pidoti(SP?) Reef, but I don't think we were actually fishing it. We spent a lot of time looking for structure but the bottom was pretty flat where we were looking. I know Erik and I fished that reef during the AOTD and I thought I was in the same area, but all I could find was flat bottom...that is for the brief moments that my FF worked...

Friggin' awesome underwater shots!!!!
I didn't see you guys all that far south of the launch. I was hoping someone would make the trek and fish near the exposed rocks. I was at Red Barn watching all the boats just a little south of me. 15 in all and pretty well grouped together.
Next time I may take my yak and see how the shoulder holds up. Then again it may put the kibosh on the good conditions if I do.

Ditto for me too . . . great underwater photos!  I went out yesterday at Stillwater Cove just north of Fort Ross and the water wasn't nearly as glassy as your photos, but it was still calm.  Thanks for the report.
