I'm starting to get real antsy about the rockfish opener and the prospect of being blown out on the weekend is bumming me out.

However, Friday the wind forcast is improving. :smt001  They (iwindsurf.com) are forecasting only light (2-4 mph) winds in the morning for Bodega Bay.

So... I'm considering taking Friday morning off.  I live/work in western Sonoma County so I should be able to fish the morning or so and still get a few hours of work in during the afternoon.  I'll have no problems getting approval from my boss but my WAF (wife approval factor) will be nill :smt012 if I don't have someone out there with me for safety.

If anyone's interested let me know and we can put together a plan.  I'm thinking about an early morning start around 6-6:30 and I'm game for either Fort Ross or Still Water Cove.
