Report Fort Ross 9/16/22 Friday Hookup

My wife and I plan to head to Fort Ross for some rockfish tomorrow,  subject to the weather.
Hopefully, the wind doesn't start blowing until the afternoon.
Plan to arrive around 7:00 AM.

I am on vacation until October 2nd and able to go fishing during weekdays.

Was thinking about it since the MBK derby has been postponed for a week. But conditions look bad up there for Friday. Santa Cruz is supposed to still have good conditions though.

Arrived at the gate at 7:05 AM but it was closed.  Waited for 10 minutes until one of the park staff opened the gate.
Launched close to 8:30 AM but the fishing was slow and the weather was good.  Sunny and no wind and small swells.  Both launching and landing were easy, just had to avoid a large wave set.  We fished until 11:30 AM and got rockfish limits, mostly brown and china, copper, yellow, black, and a cabazon.  My wife and I had a great time as usual.
Cleaned the fish until 12:30 PM and left the park by 1:30 PM.  The wind finally started blowing around 2 PM.
