Yeah especially as my lifetime  expectation gets shorter and shorter. That's why I gotta clear out some gear.  Like musical instruments, these things have souls, and need to sing.  Not sit on my shelf.  I still have plenty to work with including a few vintages that are too dear to part with. And some 'medium vintage' that work perfect and apply to most fishings situations here at home.

Looking to round up my overall quiver with bigger game stuff Avet 2-speeds for Pelagics.  mx,jx,hx raptors and 60-80-100# boat rods.  I'd make the right trades if offered, but don't want to juggle 50 different conversations on individual reels hence the lot sale.

AlssHobie- Im only keeping the reels I use.  Or might use someday. Or have a sentimental value. Or are just too cool to give up.

I kinda went off the deep end myself a few years ago, picking up vintage reels. I'd love to display them, but I don't really have the space. I may just have to follow in your footsteps Allen!
