The Santa Cruz harbor (the “A” dock) is another super-easy launch location. There’s a reasonable prospect for halibut there, and rockfish are pretty consistent.

Thanks! I will target rock fish On my first trip since I had some experience with it on charter boats. Do you know how far away from the harbor do I need to paddle to locate rock fishes? I do have a helix 7 fish finder, but a direction would be very helpful:)
