Is anyone running this bag in a revo 13 front hatch? Dimensions look like it would fit with a little bit of stuffing it in there... The bag seems quality and at a good price point compared to the hobie cooler, but it's all hard to tel just looking online.

If anyone has any good suggestions for front hatch cooler for the revo 13 specifically, I am all ears! Hoping it'll be something that will stand up to bottomfish spines.

Thanks!!

Are you trying to fit it inside of the hatch? It's likely more rigid than it looks and my guess is it would be tough to fit inside. I've tried to make a few other coolers fit that didn't work out. I'm tempted to make something.

I'm not too keen on soft-sided coolers. But IMHO it would be great if somebody made a hard-sided cooler that could fit in the front hatch, which is otherwise wasted space. It seems like it should not be that hard to make a decent cooler...

On your link for the bag, at the bottom of the page is a link for the "eats and drinks" bag.  This bag is Mako's old shark fish bag and is very heavy vinyl and 33" long.  I bought it when it was the much cooler named shark bag.  But I drop in 5 or 6 frozen water bottles and a few lbs of ice and throw it in my hull.  Inside the hull, the ice lasts all morning-ish and holds reasonably large fish as it is very wide too.  I've put a lot of rockfish and ling in it with no punctures so far (1 season of spearing, 1 season of kayak).  Sealed it's 36" diagonally.  For a whopping 21 bucks.  YMMV but I stopped using my Calcutta bag because this one is so easy to manage.
