Hi, I'm Frank. Went on a last minute camping trip with my son, Sean, and chose the one and only spot available on the north coast...Albion! As soon as we landed people started asking us if we were in Dennis' group. After the 5th person asked, I thought, "should I be?" Hell yes! We were lucky enough to be posted up right next door! People started showing up for some NCKA tournament. Being an ex bass tourny competitor, I was quite intrigued. Victor was our first contact. Great guy!!! Awesome setup and great boat! Then Alex and his pooch, Cola. There was Allen, the "Cornhole Heckler". Thanks for the Martini! And Jeff the Ref. Then Brian and Stevie - incredibly friendly. Thanks for the food! Dillon with the crazy spread! I was eyeing that pineapple! Then there was Dennis. We were warned by many that we were camping in the rowdy party zone! Couldn't have been more grateful and lucky to have landed next door to this camp! Not only were my son and I invited into the campfire social circle, we were offered some of the best fish tacos, halibut and geoduck sashimi, cocktails and some very pleasant company! And I forgot the lovely girl's name that gave us Mochi waffles! Holy moly! So good. These folks are definitely my jam! Victor, you got me shopping for a couple kayaks! I can hear my wife now. "Why a whole new set of rods? Can't one of these 50 other poles work for a kayak?" Thanks for introducing me to this forum and lighting a new fishing fire!

Sounds like you got the full immersion NCKA experience without knowing it was coming!  Great recap of a great weekend and I too enjoyed the Shuland activities, food, and the really really awesome people to hangout with!  Don't know if we met, but glad you are here now!  Welcome! :smt006
